OUR MISSION
Support for Ukraine. Community for all.
Since February, we have been helping people fleeing war, creating a safe space of support. By the fall of 2023, we had helped over 7,000 people and we continue to help those that find their way to our Community Center.

OUR STORY
In the beginning there was Lena.
And 260 other women who fled to us from neighboring Ukraine with their children, parents and sisters in the first days of the war. We gave them shelter in our homes and the homes of our neighbors, in the Dębniki district of Krakow. Thanks to the support of our partners and donors, we have opened a safe haven for them – the Dębniki Community Center. Despite the pain of unspeakable loss, and the continuing trauma, those whose homes and loved ones were taken away by the war are able to daily access critical material resources, while experiencing the strength that comes with bonds, of sisterhood and a supportive community. The number of people depending on the Community Center increases daily. Today we support over 1,100 families. We also have over 100 volunteers serving with us, coming from around the corner and also from the farthest corners of the world. Together we are doing our part to relieve the urgent crisis in Krakow, while building a world in which everyone has a safe space where they belong.
